Job Summary
The Janitor at ABDM is responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of a large warehouse facility. Working under the guidance of the Janitorial Lead, the Janitor supports daily operations by cleaning assigned areas, following established schedules, and adhering to company standards.
Job Type: Full-time | Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Key Responsibilities
- Daily Cleaning Tasks:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, office spaces, and high-traffic areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas to maintain a clean environment.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Safety & Hygiene Standards:
- Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and using equipment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the Janitorial Lead promptly.
- Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the Janitorial Lead to address specific cleaning requests or priorities.
- Work as part of a team to meet cleaning goals and maintain overall facility standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a professional attitude.
Working Conditions
- This position requires on-site work at a large warehouse facility.
- Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting of cleaning supplies or equipment.
- Availability for early morning, evening, or weekend shifts as needed.
Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician at ABDM is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness and upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. This role requires hands-on expertise to execute repairs, conduct inspections, and maintain equipment, contributing to a safe, efficient, and clean working environment.

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
Shift Availability: Day Shift (Required), Night Shift (Preferred)
Experience:
- Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Conveyor installation: 1 year (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities
- Preventative & Reactive Maintenance:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of facility systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Support the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in implementing emergency response plans and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Team Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, vendors, and contractors to complete maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management for tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and equipment inspections.
- Report all completed tasks, safety incidents, and system issues to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings to provide updates and align on maintenance priorities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA) and preventative maintenance best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools effectively.
